Most of us are collectors of interesting textiles or like to create pieces with stamping, monoprints, and other surface design techniques. Creeks and rivers, the flow of water over and around rocks, interest me. Below are sketches I have made that might become quilts in time.

This quilt started with a stack of block prints I had made. In looking through my sketchbook, I happened on the page of creek and rock shapes. Developing an idea from the two inspirations worked for me.
